TalentLMS Drives the Conversation on AI-Powered Learning at World of Learning 2026
As an exhibitor and main-stage speaker, TalentLMS connected with hundreds of learning professionals, gathered live industry sentiment through a booth poll, and deepened relationships with existing customers in the UK.
Birmingham, October 20, 2026 — TalentLMS, the easiest-to-use training platform for growing businesses, took the main stage at World of Learning 2026 that took place between October 6–7 in Birmingham, UK. Over two days, TalentLMS drew hundreds of attendees to its booth, captured live insights from around 230 learning professionals through an on-site poll, and challenged the industry to rethink how learning drives performance in the age of AI.
On the first day of the conference Nick Gonios, VP of Learning Transformation and Company Ambassador at TalentLMS, took the main stage with his session “Orchestrating high-performance ecosystems in the age of AI,” challenging learning leaders to move beyond fragmented AI experiments and build connected learning ecosystems that deliver measurable organisational impact. He shared three key insights for L&D teams navigating the AI era: Bring learning inside the workflow with just-in-time, performance-first support; let adaptive AI work invisibly in the background to personalise learning at scale; keep humans at the heart, using AI to amplify mentorship rather than replace it.

“The question every learning leader should ask is simple: Can they do the job? If the answer is no, that’s not a resourcing problem — it’s a design problem. We need to stop measuring training completion and start building capability,” said Nick Gonios, VP of Learning Transformation and Company Ambassador at TalentLMS.
At the booth, TalentLMS ran a live poll at the booth, asking visitors: “What’s the one thing slowing down your training today?” Nearly a third (31.7%) of L&D professionals who voted cited lack of time as the biggest barrier, followed by proving L&D impact (21.6%) and learning competing with work (19.8%). Skills gaps (15%) and scaling training (11.9%) rounded out the responses, painting a picture of L&D teams under pressure to do more with limited time and clearer evidence of impact.

Also, visitors saw the platform in action, explored its AI-powered features, and shared their own perspectives on the state of workplace learning. Two themes came up repeatedly in those conversations: L&D teams struggling to connect training to business outcomes and translate impact into the KPIs and revenue metrics leadership expects, and widespread AI anxiety — with visitors impressed to find AI in TalentLMS built directly into the flow of work rather than added as an extra layer of complexity. Attendees also had the chance to pick up a copy of the TalentLMS Learning Debt report, the company’s latest research on the decay of workplace learning.
Beyond new connections, the event was an opportunity to reconnect with existing TalentLMS customers, who stopped by the booth to share feedback, discuss their evolving training needs, and explore what’s next on the platform. These face-to-face conversations offered direct insight into how growing businesses are using TalentLMS to speed up their training and close skills gaps.
TalentLMS’s presence at World of Learning reinforces its commitment to helping organizations adopt AI-powered employee training responsibly and deliver modern learning that keeps pace with changing business needs.
