Epignosis’ mission is to democratize learning by making premium eLearning technology accessible and affordable to any single company or organization worldwide. Epignosis’ values and practices encompass the ethical, legal and professional duty to ensure that the information they hold conforms to the principles of confidentiality, integrity, privacy and availability. As a result, Epignosis ensures that the data entrusted to them by their customers, is safeguarded against inappropriate disclosure, kept accurate, timely, attributable, and available to those who should be able to access it.
Epignosis has been continuously enhancing its data privacy and security policies, processes and controls, and complying with mandatory statutory laws and regulations, including the forthcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To this end, Epignosis is delighted to announce that it has joined the EU Cloud Code of Conduct (EU Cloud CoC), prepared by the Cloud Select Industry Group (C-SIG) of cloud service providers.
Joining the EU Cloud CoC constitutes additional proof of Epignosis’ strong commitment to compliance with privacy laws. As does the Epignosis GDPR Compliance Program instituted in advance of the General Data Protection Regulation.
The EU Cloud CoC’s transparency, industry-wide acceptance and firm commitment to data privacy, and the high professional standards of its members, as well as its continuous interaction with the European data privacy regulatory authorities is a major boost for Epignosis’ efforts toward GDPR compliance –for the company itself and customers of their services. Epignosis plans to demonstrate adherence to the EU Cloud CoC’s requirements for all the services it provides to its customers.
With GDPR ante portas, Epignosis further emphasizes its support to the new regulation through its participation in the EU Cloud CoC, its firm commitment to transparency and European data protection requirements, and finally its appreciation to the EU Cloud CoC as a high-quality industry-led code of conduct.
